Students from Adyghe State University, serving as mentors in the "Sirius.Summer: Start Your Project" project, implemented by the Polaris-Adygea Regional Center for the Identification and Support of Gifted Children, took part in the final event – an exhibition of the results of research projects completed by school teams.
A total of 19 ASU students participated in this year's project, mentoring 21 projects.
"Participation in the project allowed our students to gain experience as mentors, acquire project management skills, and provide employment opportunities and financial support for the duration of the projects," said Irina Kireeva, head of the ASU Student Scientific Society .
Projects implemented by schoolchildren under the guidance of ASU students:
- Formation of constructive strategies for youth behavior in intercultural conflict (mentor - Arsen Babayan , 2nd year student of the Institute of Law);
- A web application for determining the parameters of plant parts based on an image (mentor – Milana Sheludsheva , 4th-year student at the Institute of Exact Sciences and Digital Technologies);
- A web application for determining the parameters of phenotypic traits of seeds and their classification based on machine vision algorithms (mentor – Ekaterina Kudinova , 4th-year student at the Institute of Exact Sciences and Digital Technologies);
- Development of a composition for obtaining a biodegradable polymer based on starch (mentor - Ksani Morin , 4th year student of the Faculty of Natural Sciences);
- Organization of transport services and logistics in the agro-industrial complex (mentor - Madina Chuntyzheva, 2nd year student of the Institute of Law);
- PRO.PRAVO: navigator on the rights and responsibilities of minors (mentor - Angelina Mokovozova , 3rd year student of the Institute of Law);
- Synthetic data generator for microgrid with renewable energy sources (mentor – Alexander Rakov , 3rd year student of the Institute of Exact Sciences and Digital Technologies);
