This time, the speaker was traveler Konstantin Kolotov, who shared his remarkable experiences. During a round-the-world trip on a bamboo bicycle, he covered an impressive 50,000 kilometers, opened a cafe in Zanzibar, and found the woman of his dreams.

Konstantin candidly shared the story of how he embarked on this journey with just $20 in his pocket and no command of foreign languages. Despite these initial challenges, he successfully raised over a million rubles to fund his trip and secured valuable support at the highest level. The speaker explained the importance of paying attention to nonverbal cues, as opposed to relying solely on verbal communication. He also discussed how he developed essential safety rules during his time in Africa and why he ultimately chose to reject lucrative advertising contracts when they threatened to compromise his freedom. The audience was left with a lasting impression from the speaker's inspiring story.

The full version of this fascinating lecture can be viewed on our Rutube channel at the following link.

As a reminder, the meeting was organized by the ANO "Zapovedny Kavkaz" and the Adygea Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society, with information support from ASU.
