An educational event for international students was held in the conference hall of Adyghe State University as part of the "We Are in Russia" grant project, "Socio-Cultural Adaptation of International Students." The event was organized by the Adyghe Republican Public Organization "Knowledge" and the ASU International Student Services Department.
The event aimed to integrate foreign students into the cultural space of Russia and Adygea, the event created favorable conditions for intercultural dialogue and the harmonization of interethnic relations, facilitating the successful integration of foreign citizens into Russian society. The lecture fostered intercultural tolerance among international students and helped them better understand the ethnocultural diversity of the country and the region.
The speaker was Maret Kuyok, a PhD candidate in art history and senior researcher at the T.M. Kerashev Adyghe Republican Institute for Humanitarian Research. She delivered a lecture titled "The History and Culture of the Adyghe."
