Adyghe State University Announces the Launch of the 2026 Admissions Campaign: Opportunities Await Aspiring Students

Adyghe State University, like other institutions nationwide, officially launched its admissions campaign today. Our university offers 87 academic programs across 44 fields of study for the Class of 2026. As part of the state assignment for the 2026/2027 academic year, ASU has allocated a total of 858 state-funded places. The largest portion—326 places—is dedicated to our flagship program, teacher education. Importantly, compared to previous years, we have consistently maintained a high number of state-funded positions, reaffirming our commitment to accessible education.
We certainly focus on the needs of the times and the labor market. Therefore, the largest number of budget-funded places are allocated to modern and promising programs. For example, "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. Intelligent Data Analysis" offers 53 budget-funded places. Another important program is "Computer Science and Engineering. Artificial Intelligence Technologies" with 50 budget-funded places. Applicants' interest in these programs is confirmed by the recent news that ASU, together with MIPT, Sirius, and Yandex, have launched a new educational program on artificial intelligence in pedagogy. We also welcome future athletes in the programs "Physical Education. Sports Training in a Chosen Sport " (37 places) and "Psychological and Pedagogical Education. Psychology and Social Pedagogy " (30 places).
A number of changes await all applicants. First, a significant change concerns college and technical school graduates. They can now apply to universities without relying on their Unified State Exam (USE) scores, but only through internal entrance examinations, under one condition: their chosen program must be consistent with their previously completed secondary vocational education. However, if they wish to significantly change their program, they must take the Unified State Exam (USE).
Secondly, this year you don't need to create a personal account on the university's website. You can now submit your documents in three ways: in person at the Admissions Office at 15 Zhukovsky Street, by mail, or through the convenient "Online University Admissions" super service on the Gosuslugi portal. Applicants can apply to up to five universities simultaneously, selecting up to five areas of study at each.
Social support and staffing for the region are our priorities. Traditionally, the following are allocated from the total number of budget-funded places:
-
A separate quota of 180 places is available for children of SVO participants and other privileged categories. Incidentally, this year, widows and widowers of SVO participants have also joined them.
-
A special quota of 176 places is available for orphans, children with disabilities, and war veterans.
-
The target quota is 67 detailed applications. All offers from employers have already been published on the Unified Digital Platform "Work in Russia." This allows prospective students not only to receive an education but also to be guaranteed employment.
The ASU Admissions Office is open weekdays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturdays (until July 25th): 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Details and progress of the 2026 ASU admissions campaign can be found at https://abiturient.adygnet.ru/
