Fourteen Students from ASU and Kuban State University to Earn Dual Diplomas in Professional Communication
The final exam for the professional retraining program " Translator in Professional Communication " (English) was held at Adyghe State University . This program is one of ASU's programs that allows students to pursue a second profession while studying at the university through extracurricular activities. Upon graduation, these graduates receive two diplomas: one in their primary field of study and one in several additional options.
Students in their 2nd to 4th years were admitted to the " Translator in the Field of Professional Communication " program: three from the Kuban State University of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism, the rest were students from various faculties of ASU: the Faculty of Engineering and Physics, the Faculty of Philology, the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Social Technologies and Tourism, the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, and the Institute of Arts.
They completed an intensive additional course in English. Classes were held two to three times a week, both in person and part-time, for three years. The exam was held in the Department of Foreign Languages. All 14 students passed the exam and received a state-recognized diploma. In-depth study of English, provided by qualified teachers and modern textbooks from foreign publications, will enable graduates to engage in dialogue with international partners and successfully work in joint ventures and foreign companies.
The program's director is Zarema Khabekirova, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, PhD in Philology, and Associate Professor . The new program intake begins on October 1st.
