Students from Adyghe State University won the Grand Prix at the International Olympiad "Dialogue of Cultures: The Path to Unity"

Students from Adyghe State University, as members of the team "Guardians of Unity.01," secured the grand prize at the International Distance Student Olympiad "Dialogue of Cultures: The Path to Unity," held in celebration of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia.

The Olympiad was conducted remotely from March 2 to April 3 and was organized by the V.M. Shukshin Biysk Branch of Altai State Pedagogical University. Nineteen teams representing seventeen universities from Russia, Belarus, and Turkmenistan participated in the event.

The competition consisted of four rigorous rounds. Participants were required to submit a team profile, compose an essay on the role of national holidays in fostering tolerance, develop methodological recommendations for interethnic interaction technologies, prepare an event plan, and create a video titled "Multicolored Hearts: Russia, United by Culture!"

Team leaders emphasized that the tasks demanded a high level of professional preparation, and the students successfully navigated all stages of the competition.

As a result of their outstanding performance across all rounds, the ASU team "Guardians of Unity.01" achieved top honors in each stage and secured first place in the essay round. Overall, the students accumulated the highest total score among all participants and were awarded the prestigious Grand Prix diploma. The team consisted of second-year students from the ASU Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology: team captain Daria Ilyina, Marina Grishanova, Sofia Yeltsova, Ivan Matsiuk, and Kira Gudkova. The team was mentored by faculty members from the Department of Pedagogy and Pedagogical Technologies of the ASU Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, including Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Professor Mira Bogus, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor Sara Khapacheva, and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor Bela Panesh.
