Adyghe State University Hosted the Regional Final of the All-Russian Olympiad in Service, Tourism, and Hotel Management
On March 30, the Science and Innovation Park of Adyghe State University hosted the in-person final round of the IX All-Russian (with international participation) Olympiad for students in the fields of tourism, service, and hospitality.
More than 30,000 schoolchildren and students from 89 regions of Russia, as well as neighboring countries, participated in the qualifying round. The Olympiad was conducted across 13 categories, including Geography, History, Social Studies, Tourism, Service, Hotel Management, and others.
Over 100 participants from the Republic of Adygea—comprising university and college students, as well as schoolchildren in grades 7–11—advanced to the final round. Among the schoolchildren, the highest number of participants competed in the categories of Geography, History, and Social Studies. The most popular categories among students were Tourism, Service, Hospitality, Geography, and Food Industry. Some participants competed in multiple categories simultaneously.
The winners and runners-up of the Olympiad will be incorporated into the State Information System "Talented Children" This inclusion will provide them with additional points for university admissions, eligibility for grant support, and access to educational programs at the Sirius Center. Information about these awards remains valid for four years and is accessible through their personal account on the "Gosuslugi" portal.
