Open lecture “Heroes don’t give up”

An open lecture “Heroes don’t give up” dedicated to the 81^st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War will take place at the Adyghe State University. Doctor of Economical Sciences, Professor Aminut Kнuazheva will tell about life and exploits of the Hero of the Soviet Union Khusen Borezhevich Andrukhaev. He was a talented poet, journalist, a brave commander, a political officer and a sniper. He did not surrender to the enemies and died on November 8 1941. Hero Andrukhaev’s feat was held up as an example to other Red Army soldiers.

The lecture will end with the screening of a short feature film “Khusen Andrukhaev. I will live!” dedicated to the Hero’s 100th anniversary. The film has been directed by Andzor Emkuzh and produced at the “Kavkaz Film” studio. It was shot with the support of the Kh.B. Andrukhaev family in 2020.
