The 2026 admissions campaign is underway at Adyghe State University. To date, the university has received over 2,500 applications from applicants, which is approximately 15% higher than the same period last year.

ASU is accepting 87 academic programs across 44 areas of study for admission in 2026. The total number of state-funded places is 858. The university's key priority is teaching staff training, for which 326 places are allocated.

Traditionally, the programs "Management" (51 applicants per place), "Economics" (30 applicants per place), and "Law" (23 applicants per place) are in high demand among applicants. However, in recent years, the popularity of IT specialties has grown significantly: this year, the program "Information Security" has attracted particular interest.

New educational programs introduced this year include a bachelor's degree program in "Pedagogical Education. Foreign Language," as well as a unique master's program in "Cultivating Mathematical Talents," which has no analogues in Russia .

The methods for submitting documents have also changed significantly. While last year, 65% of applicants preferred to apply in person to the admissions office, the situation has now completely reversed: over 60% of applications are now submitted online through the Gosuslugi super service—the convenience and speed of remote application are clearly becoming the priority.

Applications are still being accepted: for those applying for state-funded tuition based on their Unified State Exam results, the deadline is July 25 , and for master's students, the deadline is August 12. Applicants planning to apply based on internal entrance examinations must submit their documents by July 16 .

"This year, we've seen a steady increase in interest in the university. We cover virtually the entire spectrum of subject areas—from the humanities to technical fields—and are ready to offer compelling options at all levels of education, from college to graduate school," comments Rustam Shkhachemukov, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Social Affairs at ASU .

Preliminary results of the admissions campaign confirm that ASU maintains its status as one of the leading universities in southern Russia, attracting talented young people from across the country—from the Krasnodar Territory and the North Caucasus republics to the Altai and Khabarovsk Krais.
