Russian Language Week, dedicated to the birthday of A.S. Pushkin and Russian Language Day, concluded at the Russian Language Department of the Faculty of Philology at Adyghe State University. The events were held under the overarching theme, "And May Pushkin Live On in Russia..."

Russian Language Week at the Faculty of Philology is a cherished annual tradition that brings together students from diverse fields, including philology, journalism, mathematics, and more. Notably, students actively participate in the preparation and execution of the week’s events, fostering a collaborative and engaging environment.

The program of Russian Language Week included a departmental dictation, a grammar tournament, a battle of orators, presentations of the Chernovik magazine and the Literate Maykop project, a limerick competition, and a closing summary of all activities.

The departmental dictation, traditionally conducted before the summer session, provides students with an opportunity to assess their literacy skills. The Grammar Tournament is a team-based competition designed to test participants' knowledge of the complexities of Russian grammar. Students from the Faculty of Philology, the Institute of Exact Sciences and Digital Technologies, and the Faculty of Natural Sciences competed in this intellectually stimulating event.

Special attention is given to the department’s student projects. The journal "Chernovik" has been published since 2019 as a final project within the "Creative Writing Workshop" course. Its publication coincides with both Russian Language Day and Pushkin Day. Additionally, the educational initiative "Literate Maykop," launched in 2022, aims to promote proficient and literate Russian speech throughout the city.

Zuleikhan Bedanokova, Head of the Russian Language Department, emphasized, "Engaging students in research and creative work under faculty supervision is a core principle of our department. It is essential for students to pursue independent study, continuous learning, and the deepening of their knowledge outside the classroom. These experiences equip them with vital skills for their future careers and for the promotion of the Russian language."
